Current UP Government is committed to provide quality medical facilities in remote districts of the state, upgradation of the medical education, setting new paradigms in new research works and establishing more and more medical colleges with the aim of benefitting a large number of people through innovative experiments and in it quality infra structure. -
The foundation stone of government medical college project was laid in Hardoi on 26th February 2019 by the present honorable Chief Minister Government of UP. -
Under the centrally aided scheme “Establishment of New Medical CollegesAttached with Exiting Districts/ Referral Hospitals, Phase II”. It was decided to upgrade Hardoi District Hospital to Government Medical College, Hardoi and through Government of India letter dated 21st June 2018. Consent was given on DPR of Government Medical College, Hardoi. -
For establishment of Government Medical College, Hardoi in district Hardoi, 16.50 acres of land is available for new campus in village-Gauradanda, pergana-Gopamau, Tehsil-Sadar,District-Hardoi and 11 acres in district Hospital campus Hardoi. For the construction of which UP Rajkiya Nirman Nigam Limited has been designated as the executive body. -
Centrally assisted scheme Government Medical College, Hardoi is 110.3 Km away from Lucknow, which can be covered in estimated time in 2 hours 22 minutes. -
Under construction centrally aided schemeGovernment Medical College, Hardoi, total sanctioned cost of the project is rupees 206.33 crores, relative to which total budget released so for is rupees 76.64 crores and total expenditure amount is rupees 56.94 crores at present the physical progress of the construction work is 45 %. -
Hardoi is a district in India in state of UP. It comes under Lucknow division. The headquarter of the district is Lucknow city, where hindi, urdu & Awadhi languages are prevalent. Hardoi district is located in southern part of Lucknow division. Ganga, Ramganga, & Gomti are the main river. Apart from this there are also small rivers like Garra, Kunda, Gharera etc. The soil of district Hardoi is mainly sandy loam. The geographical area of district is 5986 square km.
AIMS & OBJECTIVES OF THE SOCIETY
- To achieve excellence in healthcare, medical education, & research through concerned efforts of faculty, students, & employees. To determine, prescribe, & implement courses of study and syllabi as prescribed by various professional council established by act of parliament e.g. MCI, DCI, NCI, etc.
- To impart high quality and value based medical education through multi-grade seminar, research, moral teaching, methodology & techniques.
- To organize short term intensive courses, conferences and seminars on current medical research and technological development.
- To evolve scientific methods of evolution.
- To conduct hospital services in effective and efficient manner.
- To encourage people’s participation, mobilize fund innovatively and adapt appropriate models like PPP and outsourcing to improve intellectual climate and patient care.
- To run nursing and paramedical schools as deemed necessary.
- To render faculties for conducting advanced activities relative to medical specialties as per the requirements.
- To collaborate with other Medical Institutions and medical specialty hospital in India or elsewhere for advanced training and best practices in the field of medical education and research.
